the inspiration

When my daughter was two, my husband and I challenged ourselves to explore 25 new playgrounds over the course of one summer. It let us explore parts of our city we had never seen and it helped build her confidence and imagination. This sense of adventure and exploration is what inspired me as I set off to build a children's brand.

OUR bRAND

In today’s digital world, kids should be encouraged to get outside, play and use their imagination. I built the Alyoop brand to offer comfortable clothes for kids to play in and be adventurous, while still looking good and making a fashion statement. I wanted to design a clothing line which captures the free-spirited style of my daughter and the happy, inquisitive nature of my son.

Although Alyoop is certainly inspired by New York City, it’s meant to help kids everywhere feel inspired but more importantly, be uninhibited by their clothing. I hope you and your children love the designs as much as I do!

About Me

I have spent over 15 years in the apparel industry designing everything from men's dress shirts, to athletic wear to cooling towels.  A University of Michigan graduate, my passions lie in creating clothes that are fun and practical. When I'm not designing clothes, you can typically find me with my kids, searching out new playgrounds, playing on the beach and enjoying life.
